A little more of the surroundings and its inhabitants...
Low cloud and mist can dramatically change the look and feel of the Ambert valley.
At night there are all sorts of creatures on the prowl. Above-left a toad eyes up
a glow worm as a potential meal. Above-right is a close-up of the glow worm, which
didn’t get eaten after all.
For the photographers : The pictures were taken using a 30sec exposure, F11 aperture
and a quick pass with an LED torch was used to illuminate the surroundings.
